CNOOC North America (CPNA) plans to implement the K1B project in the Canadian Long Lake oil field operation area to expand resource extraction capabilities and to obtain high-quality oil sand resources. The K1B project well is located in the southeast of the existing K1A plant area, with a processing capacity of approximately 20,000 barrels per day. The high-temperature and high-pressure steam and produced oil products will be transferred to the Changhu CPF central processing plant through the newly built 6 kilometers of HP high-pressure steam pipelines, 6 kilometers of PE emulsion pipelines, 6 kilometers of PV steam pipelines and 8 kilometers of NG natural gas pipelines.
K1B项目井场将建成为21口生产油井、21口注气井的井场地面油砂开发生产设施,包括井对模块、公用模块、管廊模块及E-house、排凝撬和启动分离撬等辅助生产撬块。
该项目计划在2025 年底之前实现首油。
The K1B project well site will be built as a surface oil sand development and production facility for 21 production oil wells and 21 gas injection wells, including well pair modules, utility modules, pipe gallery modules and E-houses, condensation drainage skids and start-up separation skids, and auxiliary production of skids.
The project plans to achieve first oil production before the end of 2025.
